Haiku, the Robot

Another week, another Metroidvania. This week's entry does look lovely, though. The presentation might be a bit GameBoy Advance, but the pixel art looks superb.

Release:‌ April 28
Developer: Mister Morris Games
Launch price:‌ $17 ‌|‌ ‌£14.86

Kaiju Wars

Kaiju Wars borrows Into the Breach's twist of seeing the monsters' next move, and the presentation is similarly gorgeous, with lush retro pixels glazed in VHS murk.

Release:‌ April 29
Developer: Foolish Mortal Games
Launch price:‌ $18 ‌|‌ ‌£13.94

Deadly Dozen Reloaded

The 2001 original wasn't particularly popular, but it's interesting to see this remake emerge, especially at a time when single-player tactical shooters are rare.

Release:‌ April 29
Developer: N-Fusion Interactive
Launch price:‌ $18 ‌|‌ ‌£13.94

Metal Mind

Metal Mind is a top down roguelite shooter visually reminiscent of Enter the Gungeon, except you play as a mech tasked with resisting an oppressive human regime.

Release:‌ April 25
Developer: Whirlaxy Studio
Launch price:‌ $15.29 ‌|‌ ‌£11.89

MACE: Mapinguari's Temple

MACE sounds a lot like Among Us, with an interesting horror twist. Up to ten players dive into a labyrinthine temple to collect artefacts, avoiding traps and a "deceitful cultist".

Release:‌ April 30
Developer: Tavern Tale Studio
Launch price:‌ $5 ‌|‌ ‌£4
