The best known of all ambitious Elder Scrolls mods currently in the works. This mod is rebuilding all of Oblivion's Cyrodiil in Skyrim, along with its many quests and creatures.
As the name suggests, this mod recreates Morrowind inside of Skyrim's engine. Like Skyblivion, it's a huge undertaking that involves rebuilding an entire game world as a Skyrim mod.
This isn't actually a single mod—instead, it's an ambitious collaboration between several teams, each building different Tamriel provinces as Skyrim mods.
Want to co-op your Nord aventures with friends? This is the mod to look out for. Envisioned as a fully co-op Skyrim for two to eight players, getting the 2011 RPG to play nicely on a server is no easy feat.
A mod set across the 16 realms of the Oblivion wastes. On top of the creepy world it's creating, Apotheosis is spinning an epic quest about fighting your way past a host of Daedric princes.
Another expansion-sized mod, one which boasts 40 quests, 50 dungeons, voice acting, and its own soundtrack. It's set in th Druadach Valley separating Skyrim from High Rock.
